The announcement of a new IH affiliate school in Italy has brought excitement to the International House network. IH Schio-Vicenza, located in northern Italy, is a community school directed by Julie Wallis, who is also known as the President of the Italian Association of Language Schools, AISLi.

Originally established in 1987 as The London School of Languages by Angela Chard, the school saw significant growth under the leadership of Julie Wallis, who joined in 1993 when there were just 29 students.
